Unfortunately, we have had to make the difficult decision not to take on new clients at this time.
Toni Florence, a former attorney with the Department of Justice, started Pooches, Kitties & Kisses Mobile Grooming Salon in 2006 proving that fun work was possible. Given the success of her first mobile pet grooming van, she purchased 2 additional pet grooming vans and now provides pet grooming services to all of Washington D.C. and select areas in Maryland. Toni's love of animals is obvious in the pets she has owned: a 175 pound English Mastiff; 2 miniature schnauzers; a kitten from a shelter in St. Thomas; several lovable mutts from various animal shelters; and Teddy, a lovable, black, high-strung lab chow mix from the Washington Animal Rescue League, whose picture is on the Pooches, Kitties & Kisses logo. Toni recently adopted, Bruno, a pit bull from the Humane Rescue Alliance. Her sentiment and her company's motto is that every pet is special and deserves to be treated with kindness and respect.
For over 14 years, we have been serving pets and families in our local communities. We are experienced groomers who love caring for your pets whether you want a fresh, chic look; a calming bath for an elderly pet; or a good scrub down for that guy who likes to play in the mud. We are here for you and promise to care for your fur baby as if they were our own. We provide personal attention for your pets in a quieter, more stress-free setting than a typical grooming salon. Our mobile salons offer a safe, sanitary and healthy environment where pets are never put in crates or cages. We are perfect for cats, pampered pets, senior dogs, and pets who experience car sickness or suffer separation anxiety.
Beginning March 1st, 2022 there will be a $15 increase per service to keep up with rising costs (the price of nail trims will stay the same). In addition, there will be a $5 increase on the trip fee. Thank you for your continued support and the generosity you showed the groomers who chose to work during the pandemic. While each of them experienced their own personal setbacks, they pushed through and continued to provide the community with a much-needed service. Again, thank you --- we absolutely know we are here because of your support.
