COVID-19 PROCEDURES & PROTOCOLS

 We are grateful to provide a service that allows you and your family to shelter in place while we take care of the grooming needs of your pet(s). Those needs are not just aesthetic -  they are for the health and well-being of your furry children.  As such, we are prepared to be of service during these very uncertain times and are requiring staff and clients to strictly adhere to the following protocols and procedures.  For everyone's health and safety, we are unable to make any exceptions. As the situation improves, we will consider revising our policy. 

  


  • 6 FEET SOCIAL DISTANCING IS CRITICAL. As much as we focus on providing friendly customer service, please expect a smile, not a handshake or a conversation. 
  • GROOMING INSTRUCTIONS MAY BE GIVEN OVER THE PHONE OR VIA EMAIL WHEN YOU REQUEST THE APPOINTMENT.  We will ensure your instructions are conveyed. 
  • ALL PETS MUST BE LEASHED AND AT THE FRONT DOOR WHERE THE GROOMER CAN RETRIEVE THEM OR DROPPED OFF AT THE VAN. Please extend your arm when handing over the leash and we will do the same. It's a simple and easy way to keep everyone safe. 
  • WE ARE UNABLE TO GROOM EXTREMELY ANXIOUS OR ILL-TEMPERED DOGS. All dogs must be able to enter the van and remain therein without the owner's assistance. 
  • WE ARE NOT GROOMING CATS SINCE OUR IN-HOUSE POLICY REQUIRES 2 PEOPLE TO BE PRESENT FOR CAT GROOMING. 
  • NO ONE OTHER THAN THE GROOMER IS ALLOWED IN THE VAN.  
  • PLEASE RESCHEDULE IF YOU OR SOMEONE IN YOUR HOME IS ILL, AT HIGH-RISK OR SUSPECTED OF HAVING BEEN EXPOSED TO THE VIRUS. Under such circumstances, we will waive the $25.00 cancellation fee. Understand, we also may reschedule since our groomers are required to stay at home if they are feeling ill or experiencing symptoms of COVID-19.
  • CREDIT CARD OR PAYPAL ARE OUR PREFERRED METHODS OF PAYMENT, during this outbreak. Either, you may pay for your services on our website using PayPal or have the groomer key in your credit card information as long as you are mindful of the social distancing mandate. Otherwise, you may provide a check or the exact amount of cash and place it in a box provided by the groomer. 
  • PLEASE MAINTAIN HANDWASHING RECOMMENDATONS. OUR GROOMERS ARE DIRECTED TO DO THE SAME AND TAKE EXTRA PRECAUTIONS TO DISINFECT BETWEEN GROOMING APPOINTMENTS AND AT THE END OF THE WORK DAY.
  • PLEASE LET OUR GROOMERS KNOW THAT YOU APPRECIATE THEIR DEDICATION. 
  • IT IS NOT JUST OUR DUTY, IT IS OUR PLEASURE TO SERVE YOU AND KEEP EVERYONE SAFE WHILE WE NAVIGATE THIS UNCERTAIN AND UNSETTLING TERRAIN. EXTRA PATIENCE AND UNDERSTANDING IS APPRECIATED.
